If you’re like most parents, you’re probably concerned about how much screen time your kids are getting. It can be tough to balance keeping them entertained and ensuring they’re getting enough education and exercise.

According to a recent study by the Common Sense Census on Media Use, tweens and teens spend more than six hours each day on their devices before the pandemic, not including time spent on screens for school or homework.

Parents all around the globe are having difficulties managing their children’s screen time. Most parents are aware that restricting kids’ access to the internet might have an impact on their learning and development. However, this also implies exposing them to online dangers and material they may not be able to handle.

Traditionally, parents would use parental control software to restrict their children’s access to the internet and screen time. However, these programs have several flaws: they are either too difficult for parents to set up or ineffective at controlling screen time because kids can find ways to get around them.

Enter gamified parental control app – 1Question. 1Question is an all-in-one parental control and educational software for children of all ages, which will be released on iOS today. It’s a clever approach to provide micro-learning throughout the day.

1Question is the world’s first mobile app to gamify and reward screen time through educational content. Through a simple approach that allows kids to earn screen time after successfully answering educational questions, the 1Question app makes the time spent on devices more engaging and productive.

1Question delivers questions in a flashcard style at a rate determined during the Child profile setup process. The 1Question Child app’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) engine recognizes and adapts to your child’s abilities and limitations, ensuring that each question counts.

1Question seamlessly integrates curriculum-aligned learning questions into the way that students already use their devices. There’s no need to log in every day or set aside special time – simply choose your preferred settings and 1Question will take care of the rest.

1Question is a subscription model app, with a free trial available. You’ll get a 14-day free trial when you sign up, and you’ll have the option of choosing between a monthly or yearly subscription afterward. Your membership will begin automatically after your trial has ended, depending on the options you’ve chosen.

The first version of the app was released on the Google Play Store in Australia. Since its founding in September 2020, the startup has completed one of the largest equity crowdfunding efforts in Australian history, raising almost $2 million from other moms and dads and being recognized by global EdTech investors through its AWS Edstart status and inclusion as a GSV Cup Elite 200, a global pitch competition celebrating the world’s most promising EdTech startups.

“We are so excited to bring our app to the United States and help parents everywhere manage their kids’ screen time in a fun and productive way,” said Issac Elnekave, co-founder and CEO of 1Question. “It is more important than ever that we find ways to make the time our kids spend on their devices more meaningful, and we are thrilled to offer a solution that does just that.”

1Question will soon expand into traditional and non-traditional curriculum areas like English, science, personal finance, language, sustainability, and inclusivity. Parents have recognized these themes as both territories to be conquered and places of interest.

While there are a number of apps on the market that offer parental controls and screen time limits, none of them offer the same level of engagement or education as 1Question. With its rewarding system and educational content, it’s the perfect solution for parents who want to encourage their kids to spend more time learning.

If you’re looking for a way to gamify and reward your child’s screen time, look no further than the new app, 1Question. With its simple approach and engaging content, it’s sure to please both kids and parents alike.

Give it a try and let us know what you think.
