Learning time

Landforms are the different shapes that the land can take here on earth. Mountains, hills, and volcanoes are three different types of landforms. Mountains are when the land raises up very quickly and sharply, so they come up into a point or a peak, so a peak is the top of a mountain. One of the most famous mountains on earth is Mount Everest. Hills are they it is where the land is raised but it is not as sharp as a mountain, so it's more rounded or curved. Volcanoes can either be a hill or a mountain that can have gas and lava that erupts from inside of it. One of the most famous volcanoes on earth is Mount St. Helens which is in Washington in the United States.
