Frogs are amphibians. This means they are able to live on land and in water. Frogs have many striking features including protruding eyes, webbed feet, and moist skin. The greenish brown color of frogs help frogs to camouflage and avoid being seen by their predators. Frogs are known for their ability to jump 10 to 20 times their whole body length. Fascinatingly, frogs have a long sticky tongue that helps them catch their prey including insects, worms, and sometimes other frogs. Frogs have a very interesting life cycle. They begin their lives as eggs, then hatch into tadpoles, develop into tadpoles eith legs, froglets and finally, frogs.
