Animals have different diets micro-lesson

Do you struggle with balancing your kids’ screen time with their education? Say hello to 1Question, the app that solves this problem with a fun twist! Our app lets your child earn screen time minutes in their favourite apps by watching educational videos and correctly answering quiz questions. And the best part? You get to decide which apps to lock behind learning using 1Question.

Learning time

Kids learn by watching short, engaging video lessons.

Animals need to eat to stay alive, but animals eat lots of different things and therefore have different diets. A carnivore is an animal that eats other animals to stay alive. An example of a carnivore is a shark or a lion or a tiger. They will hunt their prey and they will only eat meat. An herbivore differs, however, as they are an animal who only eats plants. Examples of herbivores include elephants, giraffes, and cows. An omnivore is an animal that eats plants and meat. Examples of these include a grizzly bear and little ants as well. They will eat meat and plants so if one is not readily available to them, they are able to switch and eat the other. We, as humans, are omnivores. Have a think about your diet and the last thing that you've eaten. I can guarantee you will have eaten a mixture of plants and meat.
