Primary Consumers micro-lesson
Do you struggle with balancing your kids’ screen time with their education? Say hello to 1Question, the app that solves this problem with a fun twist! Our app lets your child earn screen time minutes in their favourite apps by watching educational videos and correctly answering quiz questions. And the best part? You get to decide which apps to lock behind learning using 1Question.
Learning time
Kids learn by watching short, engaging video lessons.
Consumers are animals that eat or consume food provided by other animals or plants. Primary consumers are animals that eat plants. If they eat plants only, they are known as herbivores. If they eat plants and animals, they are known as omnivore. Plants are where they get part or all of their energy from. They cannot produce their own energy like plants or trees. For example, in a food chain, grass may be eaten by a zebra and zebra may be eaten by a lion. Here, the zebra is the primary consumer because it is the one eating the grass or plant. Another example would be monkeys eating berries from a tree and then, for example, a leopard eating the monkeys. Here, the primary consumer would be the monkeys eating the berries from the tree.
