Are your bones the same size they were as when you were baby? No. they've grown. But how do our bones grow? When babies are first born, they have about 300 bones in their body but an adult or a child only has 206 bones. So where do these other 94 bones go? Well, when you are first born, you have a lot of cartilage, that's a softer more flexible tissue. Then as you grow up, calcium goes in and encompasses the cartilage and turns it into bone through a process called ossification. Ossification starts in the middle of your bone and then spreads outwards making your bone grow longer. Ossification completes when we're about in our 20s. So, what happens to those other 94 bones? Well, babies are born with cartilage like we said and as their bones grow through ossification, some of those bones meet and begin to fuse together.

Recreational screen time
Kids can use the screen time minutes they earned to unlock the apps selected by their parent e.g. games, social media, streaming, etc.
