The Hands micro-lesson

Do you struggle with balancing your kids’ screen time with their education? Say hello to 1Question, the app that solves this problem with a fun twist! Our app lets your child earn screen time minutes in their favourite apps by watching educational videos and correctly answering quiz questions. And the best part? You get to decide which apps to lock behind learning using 1Question.

Learning time

Kids learn by watching short, engaging video lessons.

What percentage of all of our bones do you think are found in our hands? Did you know a quarter of all of the bones in the human skeleton are found in our hands? We have eight bones in our wrist. We have two rows of four bones. We then have five bones in our palm and two bones on our thumb and three bones in each of our fingers giving us a total of 27 bones in each hand. The bones in our wrist are called the carpal bones. The bones in our hand are called the metacarpals and the bones in our fingers and our thumbs are called the phalanges. We have three types of bones in our phalanges. At the bottom closest to your hand, we have the proximal bones. In the middle, we have the middle bones and at the top, we have the distal bones. These three bones work together so that we can open and close and bend our fingers.
